The Board

Built from grief, for prevention

This project traces back to two children. From that grief came a question that wouldn't go away — not "how do we cope" but "how do we prevent." That question became this site. It's small on purpose, open by design, and not selling anything.

Why this exists

A systems thinker and counsellor, Tia started Child Safety at Home after asking the question grief kept returning to: how did this happen — and how do we stop it happening to someone else?

The most dangerous place for a child in this country isn't the street or the school — it's home. We spend billions on road-safety campaigns and almost nothing on home-safety education, even though the great majority of childhood home injuries are preventable with nothing more than awareness. This site is the awareness: every number sourced, every claim backed by the institutions that track it.

Child Safety at Home is part of OMXUS — a broader project building identity, safety and freedom systems on one principle: prevention over punishment. It's free. No ads, no tracking, no sign-up required, nothing for sale.

Prevention, not fear

We never frighten. Every danger comes with the step that prevents it — because fear paralyses and knowledge empowers.

Sourced, not spun

Every figure traces to AIHW, ABS, AIFS, Kidsafe or Royal Life Saving. If we can't source it, we don't say it.

Free, not for sale

No ads, no tracking, no paywall. This is a service, not a product. If you know a better way, let's do it.

Help make homes safer

Whether you take a seat or just take the checklist, you're part of the prevention. Come in.
